Demolition of commercial structures is being undertaken as an approved eligible activity under the Genesee County Land Bank Authority (GCLBA) Demolition Program. GCLBA invites the submission of proposals from contractors experienced and licensed to conduct the abatement, demolition and disposal of commercial structures located in Genesee County. Funding sources for services to be provided include but are not limited to:
• Community Development Block Grant
• Flint BRAND Grant Funding

This Request for Proposals is being issued by the Genesee County Land Bank Authority (GCLBA) in its capacity as manager of the Hardest Hit Fund (HHF) Blight Elimination Program. GCLBA invites the submission of proposals from licensed demolition contractors with asbestos abatement certification/license for the Demolition and Disposal of Residential Structures in the City of Flint & Genesee County.

Chevy Commons Phase 3 Construction and Capping

This Project will include the construction of an earthen cap using imported fill and topsoil over an area of approximately 44,100 square yards (i.e., 9.11 acres). Work shall also include, but is not limited to, the clearing, grubbing, removal of fencing, designated utility abandonment and selective structure adjustment, construction of storm sewer and associated manhole and/or catch basins, construction of a concrete sidewalk, as well as seeding and installation of site plantings, and other Work necessary to complete the Project.

Please note, the Bidder is responsible for purchasing official Procurement Documents and full size Plans from Wade Trim at a cost of Sixty Dollars ($60.00) if picked up, or Seventy Dollars ($70.00) if mailed. EPA Revolving Loan Funds Construction Engineer for Chevy Commons

The Genesee County Land Bank Authority (GCLBA) is issuing a request for qualifications from qualified Engineers to complete CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SERVICES for a portion of the CHEVY COMMONS Project.  The subject property comprises one parcel of land identified as Parcels E.  The parcel is approximately 9.2-acres of land situated south of the Flint River bounded by Swartz Creek to the east, Street to the west, and Glenwood Avenue/Kearsley Street to the south. Construction Engineering Services are necessary to provide construction management and oversight services related to Phase 3 of capping activities on-site. Work must be completed in compliance with all relevant legal agreements, grants, and subgrant agreements as necessary. The successful Engineer will have reviewed all additionally available electronic information and ensure that work overseen and completed complies with Michigan Department of Environmental Quality Covenant Not To Sue, Environmental Protection Agency Prospective Purchaser Agreement, Environmental Construction Management Plan, Documentation of Due Care Compliance, and DRAFT Chevy Commons Phase 3 Specifications available for review at: https://app.box.com/s/bkteter29wmlttkdz427g0otatu3yl7y.

The Genesee County Land Bank (GCLB) is seeking a qualified Vendor to assist with creating a web-based “Problem Property Portal” (Portal) that will give and receive information about properties in Flint to and from the community. Creating this Portal was an immediate action step recommended by Beyond Blight: City of Flint Comprehensive Blight Elimination Framework. The Vendor will create the web-based portal as
described in the scope of work below. The portal should launch online by April 1, 2016 and the total contract for professional services to complete this work shall be completed by July 31, 2016.
