Program description
When opted-in, you will receive SMS (text) messages to your mobile number. These messages may include a response to a complaint/inquiry, or real-time texts to ask and answer questions about your complaint.

Frequency
Messaging frequency will vary depending on the details and complexity of your complaint.

Opt-in
You can opt-in to receiving SMS messages from the Genesee County Land Bank Authority by navigating to the “Report an Issue” form on our website and selecting “SMS Message” as your preferred method of contact.

Opt-out
If you wish to stop receiving SMS messages from us, reply with STOP, QUIT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any SMS message sent from us. After you send the SMS message STOP, QUIT, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE to us, we will reply to you with an SMS message to confirm that you have unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us regarding that specific complaint number. If you want to opt-in again, a new complaint can be filed, and we will start sending SMS messages to you again if you choose SMS as the preferred method of contact.

Help
If you are experiencing issues with the SMS program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can reach us by emailing propmaint@thelandbank.org or by calling 810-257-3088.

Interruption
Phone carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Cost
Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
