Genesee County Land Bank recently hosted a Demolition Contractor Training session to encourage contractors, especially local and minority contractors, to get involved in the Land Bank’s blight elimination program. During the event we discussed the pre-qualification and bidding processes to complete demolitions in compliance with federal regulations, connected contractors to resources available in the community, and created an opportunity for prime contractors to connect with potential sub-contractors. Additional Information for Demolition Contractors

We utilize www.box.com to share information with and receive information from bidders and/or contractors. Prospective bidders will want to create an account with Box to be able to review pertinent data regarding bids, such as environmental reports. It is anticipated that a free individual account should suffice. We do not require bidders or contractors to purchase a plan through Box.
